Nitrided Professional Series Saraz
Mysterious, meditative, and compelling, this is one of our most popular scale requests. Our D minor variations are also by far the most popular Handpan Scales in general. This variation can also be described as a “Celtic Minor” because the hexatonic scale leaves out the suspenseful minor 6th. This scale also plays well with F major and G dorian.
This unique Saraz comes with Free Shipping up to $200, an Evatek carrying case, microfiber cloth, sample of Rust Preventative, and a little piece of our heart and soul.

Our inspiration and passion for singing steel comes from the evolution of the Steel Pans of Trinidad, the Panart Hang, the Pantheon Steel Halo and the endless ongoing developments in the handpan art form as we strive for the highest quality possible in our work. We focus on stability, precision, and intentional design because we want each Saraz Handpan to last many lifetimes. After 6 years of production, we have safely shipped instruments to every state in the USA, every country in Europe as well as all over Asia, South America, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and even Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. As one of the earliest leaders and pioneers in the art form, we have been crafting instruments longer than 98% of the builders today.
We donate a portion of all profits to promote, raise funds and sponsor music education, environmental sustainability, and most importantly, a healthy, happy, and balanced seventh generation of life on planet Earth.
Like many people, we feel that handpans are not only just musical instruments. There is a magic within them that can touch people very deeply, inspire them in novel ways, as well as provide relaxation and internal healing in the busy world of our lives.

These guys seem to rarely have instruments in stock but I got lucky and bought this one during a flash sale for my wife for Christmas. They shipped it out 2 days later and I received it a few days after that with plenty of time to spare before the holidays. My wife was ecstatic on Christmas morning! She had wanted a handpan for years after seeing one on youtube. Funny how much our dogs likes it too and lays down beside her when she plays. The case it comes with is also really nice.
I did a lot of research on companies before settling on this one. There are a lot of handpans for cheaper than Saraz and some of them aren’t bad but there are also a lot of horrible instruments out there, especially on Ebay. These guys have been around longer than almost anyone and have a great reputation for customer service, quality, and community service. I am really happy that I chose them. Their passion shows in the quality of their work!

I custom ordered this D Minor with 4 bottom notes. They had it finished and shipped in about 3 months. The additional notes add a lot more complexity and options…like when I play the F3 on the bottom, the whole instrument gets really happy (in F Major). I also like playing it with my Oxalis Halo. They go together so well!
Like thomascoburn76 said above, there are a lot of horrible and mediocre handpans out there. So many others are muffled, tuned poorly, or just poorly built by people that are only in it for a quick buck to take advantage of naive newbies. You can’t find anything close to professional quality for less than $2000 anywhere. Most really good Handpans start at around $2500-3000.
Saraz has been around a long time, have a lot of experience, have a great reputation, excellent customer service, and make really nice instruments!

If you have been around the handpan scene for much time at all, you probably know about Saraz. These guys are one of the pioneers of the art form. I met Mark years ago at Hang Out UK. Super nice guy. Him and the Saraz crew’s work speaks for itself. Its top notch and among the best! I love my D Minor Saraz and am saving money now to get one of their new stainless instruments.
