D Minor – New variation Stainless Steel Professional Series Saraz Handpan

This dynamic new variation can be cryptic, hypnotic, and suspenseful or compellingly mysterious, meditative and even uplifting and peaceful.  It is somewhat similar to the “integral” variation on the lower end with the perfect 5th (A3) adjacent to the suspenseful minor 6th (Bb). However the higher end feels like more like an extended “Celtic” variation.  Instead of leaving out the G4 like on the “Integral”, it leaves the 2nd scale degree (E4).  The alignment of notes sets up  G Minor and F major chords on each side of the instrument with the center D3 providing a strong D minor core foundation. It is one of the most interesting and dynamic variations of D Minor we have explored yet. It also plays flawlessly with F major and G Dorian.
