Nitrided Enthusiast Series Saraz
Mysterious, meditative, compelling, and somewhat jovial. This pentatonic variation is commonly referred to historically in the East as “Yu Shan Diao”. A Panart Hang with the same variation is one of the instruments played by Dante Bucci in his hugely popular youtube video, “Fanfare”. This scale also plays well with F major and G dorian.
This unique Saraz comes with Free Shipping up to $200, an Evatek carrying case, microfiber cloth, sample of Rust Preventative, and a little piece of our heart and soul.
If you would like to add more notes to this scale, Custom Order one of our other scale variations and it will ship in 3-4 months.

About the Saraz,
Our inspiration and passion for singing steel comes from the evolution of the Steel Pans of Trinidad, the Panart Hang, the Pantheon Steel Halo and the endless ongoing developments in the handpan art form as we strive for the highest quality possible in our work. We focus on stability, precision, and intentional design because we want each Saraz Handpan to last many lifetimes. After 6 years of production, we have safely shipped instruments to every state in the USA, every country in Europe as well as all over Asia, South America, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and even Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. As one of the earliest leaders and pioneers in the art form, we have been crafting instruments longer than 98% of the builders today.
We donate a portion of all profits to promote, raise funds and sponsor music education, environmental sustainability, and most importantly, a healthy, happy, and balanced seventh generation of life on planet Earth.
Like many people, we feel that handpans are not only just musical instruments. There is a magic within them that can touch people very deeply, inspire them in novel ways, as well as provide relaxation and internal healing in the busy world of our lives.
Our customers are collaborators in a journey of creative expression. We feel that each Saraz is a musical paint brush awaiting it’s owner to paint musical landscapes of possibility.
We are honored to share with you our time honed craft and love for these instruments as well as welcome you to our global family of Saraz players.

I purchased this Saraz for my husband’s birthday. He had been dreaming of a handpan for years and he loves it!!! It is so nice and peaceful to hear him play it. Thanks so much everyone at Saraz for your work!

The first Hang video I ever saw was Dante Bucci’s “Fanfare” back in the early days of these instruments. I was so disappointed when I learned that Panart stopped making the Hang. When I found out Saraz was making the same scale as the one in Fanfare, I bought one immediately and couldn’t be happier with it. I think it is better than the original Hang. Crisp, clear, well tuned instrument that makes music for the heavens. Thank you guys!

Thanks so much for the kind words. We remember Dante well after meeting him and jamming with him a few times at the early Handpangea and Hang Out USA events in Asheville, NC. Such a great player!!! His passing was a great lose for the Handpan Community. It is an honor to dedicate this D minor variation to him as he composed one of the sweetest pieces on it we have ever heard! May it bring you endless inspiration.
