Driving, mysterious, epic, and sometimes dark. This is the classic “Integral” scale form which leaves out the 4th scale degree. These scales play well with F mixolydian scales.

These scales require significant internal baffling in order to stabilize the Bb4, therefore no bottom notes are available on these variations.
