Major scale variations can be cheerful, positive, uplifting and sometimes a sugar sweet fairy tale or smooth jazzy seduction. The first variation is a full scale of D Major. The second variation is based on the Indian “Raga Desya Todi”. These scales play well with B Minor and E Dorian.
