Pure Sound Pan Wax Rust Preventative

If you are a player looking for the purest sound possible in your Saraz while also achieving rust protection, then we recommend this product over other options. It requires more effort to apply than oils because it is a wax based paste, however it has virtually no effect on the sound of a Saraz where as oils typically shortens the sustain by about 1-2 seconds as well as dampen many of the higher frequencies associated with “brightness”. The wax is odorless and made from all natural ingredients, none of which are petroleum based. You can find a demonstration video of Josh applying the wax HERE. We currently recommend Pure Sound Pan Wax for the Saraz however it has not been tested across many other brands.  We have found that it works great on instruments made from Stainless steel as well as the Hang and many other Handpans and Pantams, particularly if they are have a nicely polished surface. If you test it on a different brand of Handpan beyond the Saraz, please email us with feedback about your experience. If you do not prefer the product or effect, it can be removed with rubbing alcohol. A 0.5 oz tin of Pure Sound Pan Wax is now included with each Saraz.
